Ingredients:
- 6 medium ripe peaches (approx. 3 lbs / 1.36kg), halved and pitted
- 4 tbsp (57g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place the peach halves cut-side up in a 9x13 inch baking dish, ensuring they are snug but not overlapping.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until the mixture forms a thick, sandy paste. Spoon equal portions of the mixture into the center of each peach half, pressing it down slightly so it fills the cavity where the pit was.
- Place the dish in the center rack of the oven. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the sugar is bubbling and the edges of the peaches are turning a deep golden-brown.
