Ingredients:

  • 6 medium ripe peaches (approx. 3 lbs / 1.36kg), halved and pitted
  • 4 tbsp (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place the peach halves cut-side up in a 9x13 inch baking dish, ensuring they are snug but not overlapping.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until the mixture forms a thick, sandy paste. Spoon equal portions of the mixture into the center of each peach half, pressing it down slightly so it fills the cavity where the pit was.
  3. Place the dish in the center rack of the oven. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the sugar is bubbling and the edges of the peaches are turning a deep golden-brown.
