Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (60g) fresh baby spinach (packed)
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup (75g) frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 frozen banana (60g)
  • 1/4 avocado (40g)
  • 1 tsp (5g) fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Wash the baby spinach thoroughly. Peel the ginger using the edge of a spoon to minimize waste and grate it finely to ensure there are no fibrous chunks in the final drink.
  2. Add the unsweetened almond milk and the spinach to the blender first. Blend on high until the greens are completely liquefied and no visible leaves remain.
  3. Add the frozen pineapple, frozen banana, avocado, ginger, chia seeds, and lemon juice. Blend again on high for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is creamy, pale green, and completely smooth.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass and serve immediately with a straw.
