Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 pinch (1g) sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (75g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp (16g) almond butter
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (8g) chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine the rolled oats, almond milk, and sea salt in a small saucepan.
  2. Turn the heat to medium and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently with a whisk to release natural starches for a smooth texture.
  3. Continue simmering for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed and the oats have a soft, creamy consistency.
  4. Stir in the ground cinnamon during the final 30 seconds of cooking.
  5. Pour the cooked oats into a bowl and drizzle the maple syrup and almond butter over the top.
  6. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and sprinkle the chia seeds across the surface.
