Ingredients:
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons raw, unsalted almonds
- 1/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions:
- Use a sharp knife to carefully slice 2 tablespoons of raw, unsalted almonds into thin slivers.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger until fully incorporated and no dry clumps remain.
- Add 1/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt to the honey ginger mixture.
- Peel 1 medium ripe banana and cut it into 1 cm thick rounds.
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer at the bottom of the bowl or slightly overlapping.
- Spoon the yogurt mixture over the center of the banana slices.
- Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the top.
- Let the snack sit for 60 seconds before eating.
