Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
  • 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Frozen pineapple chunks
  • 0.5 Frozen banana
  • 0.25 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp Real maple syrup
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Aromatics: Grate the fresh ginger using a microplane or fine grater to ensure a smooth texture. Add the grated ginger and freshly squeezed lemon juice directly into the blender canister.
  2. Add Liquid and Fruit: Pour in the coconut water, then add the frozen pineapple chunks and frozen banana slices.
  3. Add Protein and Sweetener: Add the Greek yogurt (or silken tofu) and the maple syrup if using.
  4. Blend: Add the ice cubes to the top. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture reaches a frost-bitten, sorbet-like consistency.
  5. Serve: Pour into a chilled glass and consume slowly to help settle the stomach.
