Ingredients:

  • 1 small Granny Smith apple (approx. 120g), sliced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Wash the apple thoroughly to remove any wax, keeping the skin intact for maximum fiber content.
  2. Slice the apple into 12-14 thin, uniform wedges using a paring knife or apple corer.
  3. Toss the apple slices in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to prevent oxidation and add a bright acidic note.
  4. Measure 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter into a small ramekin for portion-controlled dipping.
  5. Dust the peanut butter with ground Ceylon cinnamon and sprinkle with chia seeds to enhance insulin sensitivity and add extra fiber.
