- 1 tbsp (14g) unsalted butter
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions:
- Select bread with a mild scent, such as whole grain or plain white sourdough, to avoid nausea triggers.
- Place slices in the toaster on a medium setting until the edges reach a mahogany-colored crispness. Alternatively, heat in a non-stick skillet over medium for 2 minutes per side until the surface is firm and dry.
- Immediately spread the unsalted butter onto the hot toast so the residual heat melts the fat into the pores of the bread.
- Add a pinch of sea salt if desired to help with electrolyte balance.
