Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 0.5 medium lime, cut into 4 wedges
  • 1.5 oz simple syrup (honey or agave blend)
  • 5 oz chilled club soda
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Instructions:

  1. Place mint leaves in the bottom of your glass. Note: Don't tear them yet.
  2. Add 4 lime wedges on top of the mint.
  3. Pour the simple syrup over the limes and leaves.
  4. Muddle the mixture gently until the lime juice is released and the mint smells strong.
  5. Fill the glass with 1 cup of crushed ice.
  6. Add the club soda by pouring it slowly over the ice.
  7. Stir with a long spoon until the mint moves upward through the ice.
  8. Tap a mint sprig against your wrist and tuck it into the ice.
  9. Insert a straw directly next to the mint garnish.
  10. Serve immediately while the bubbles are still active and the glass is frosty.
