Q: Is this recipe safe for gestational diabetes?
A: Many of our recipes in the "Nourish" category are balanced with protein and fiber which can be helpful. However, we are not doctors. Please check the nutritional info and consult your dietitian regarding your specific carb limits.
Q: I'm allergic to nuts/dairy/gluten. How do I filter recipes?
A: You can use our search bar or specific category tags. We try to offer substitutions in the "Chef's Notes" section of each recipe, but please always double-check ingredient labels.
Q: Can I use your photos on my blog or social media?
A: We work hard to create our original photography. You may use one photo if you link back to the original recipe on The Preggers Kitchen and give full credit. You may NOT repost the entire recipe instructions. For commercial use, please contact us first.
Q: Do you use metric or imperial measurements?
A: Our primary audience is in the US, so we use cups and ounces (Imperial). However, many of our baking recipes include metric conversions in the recipe card for accuracy.
Q: Why did my recipe turn out different than the picture?
A: Cooking variables happen! Oven temperatures vary, and humidity can affect flour. We recommend using an oven thermometer. Also, feel free to leave a comment on the recipe—our community often helps troubleshoot!
Q: Can I submit a guest post or recipe?
A: Currently, we are not accepting outside guest posts as all our recipes go through a rigorous internal safety and testing process. However, we love hearing your suggestions for what you'd like to see next!
Q: How do I unsubscribe from your newsletter?
