Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium (118g) ripe banana, frozen in chunks
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp (5g) fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
  • 2 tbsp (12g) rolled oats, uncooked

Instructions:

  1. Peel the fresh ginger using the edge of a spoon and grate it finely using a microplane to avoid fibrous chunks.
  2. Pour the Greek yogurt into the blender first to ensure the frozen ingredients do not get stuck in the blades.
  3. Add the frozen banana, strawberries, oats, and ginger to the blender.
  4. Start the blender on the lowest setting, gradually increasing to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the oats are completely pulverized and the mixture is glossy and smooth.
